Assembly:
You can use sewing pins to help you position all the pieces before you sew them on. Sew the eyes on starting 3 rnds down from the top, approx 4 stitches apart, don't sew through the edge where the V's are, pick up loops from the back of the stitches and loops from the beige stitches. Fasten off by going through a loop but don't pull through all the way, go through the loop from behind and pull tight to make a knot. Weave end through to inside of bowl.
Sew the nose on in a straight line down the middle, starting at rnd 6, between the eyes.
Position the eyebrows on the correct sides so that the right side of the stitches are on the front and the V's are at the top. Start by sewing the chain row using the remaining chain loops, starting above the nose, then leave a bit at the end unsewn and sew in the opposite direction, picking up loops from the back of the stitches and sewing it to the last rnd of the bowl. Fasten off and weave in ends.
Sew the top edge of the wings 7 rnds down from the top edge. Fasten off and weave in ends.
The owl is finished! You can put your crochet hooks in it or pens/pencils, anything you like. I'd love to see a photo of yours, share it with me by tagging me on instagram @laura_wilson01
