Rnd 1: 6 sc in mr (6)
Rnd 2: inc in every st (12)
Rnd 3: (sc in nxt st, inc) x6 (18)
Rnds 4-5 (2 rnds): sc in every st (18)
Fasten off leaving tail for sewing. Insert safety eye in each piece between rnds 3 and 4. Don't stuff. Pin into position on the head, with the edges on rnd 3 of the head on each side. Sew to the head by picking up loops from the surface of the stitches and going underneath the V of each stitch on the eye pieces. Fasten off by finding a loop nearby, go through but not all the way- leave a loop and go through it from behind, pull tight to make a knot. Weave tail inside head by going through where you came out of, cut excess close to the edge of the work and use the end of your needle to push end inside and hide it.
Nostrils and mouth:
Cut a 30cm piece of black yarn, tie a double knot near the end, thread onto needle and come up through the opening of the head, come out between rnds 7 and 8 and make 2 short diagonal lines for the nostrils, only one round wide, then weave through to between rnds 9 and 10, 3 stitches away from the nostril, make a diagonal line for the mouth going across 2 rnds, then come out on the other side and make another diagnonal line going back into the point you came out of. Fasten off in the same way as before by finding a loop on the inside of the neck. Push end inside head.
Body:
In green, stuff as you go.

Rnd 7: (sc in nxt 5 st, inc) x6 (42)
Rnds 8-12 (5 rnds): sc in every st (42)
Rnd 13: (sc in nxt 5 st, invdec) x6 (36)
Rnd 14: (sc in nxt 10 st, invdec) x3 (33)
Rnd 15: sc in every st (33)
Rnd 16: (sc in nxt 9 st, invdec) x3 (30)
Rnd 17: sc in every st (30)
Rnd 18: (sc in nxt 8 st, invdec) x3 (27)
Rnd 19: sc in every st (27)
Rnd 20: (sc in nxt 7 st, invdec) x3 (24)
Rnd 21: (sc in nxt 6 st, invdec) x3 (21)
Rnd 22: (sc in nxt 5 st, invdec) x3 (18)
Fasten off.
Sew the head to the body by going underneath both loops of the last round of each piece. Fasten off and weave in end.
Front legs:
Make 2, in green:
Leave a long tail at the start of the slip knot for sewing later on.
Rnd 1: ch 8, join in a circle with a sc in the first chain, sc in nxt 7 chains (8) Place marker in last st you did and work in continuous spiral rounds.
Rnds 2- 12 (11 rnds): sc in every st (8)
Toes: ch 5, starting in 2nd st from hook: 3 hdc in nxt st, sc in nxt 3 st, flatten end and push hook in nxt st and then through the st directly opposite (not using that st to the right next to the toe), sl st through both layers. Repeat twice more for 3 toes in total. The st at the end corner will be skipped (6 stitches used in total). Fasten off leaving tail.
Back legs:
Make 2, in green:
Leave a long tail at the start of the slip knot for sewing later on.
Rnd 1: ch 8, join in a circle with a sc in the first chain, sc in nxt 7 chains (8) Place marker in last st you did and work in continuous spiral rounds.
Rnds 2- 15 (14 rnds): sc in every st (8)
Make the toes in exactly the same way as on the front legs. Fasten off leaving tail.
Sewing the front legs on:
Flatten the end of the front legs and pin them to the front of the body on the 4th rnd down from the top, with roughly 4 stitches visible in between them. Sew the end to the body by picking up loops from the surface of the stitches on the body and going through both layers of the first chain row on the leg, fasten off and weave end through body, trim excess. Then use the tail from where you fastened off on the toes and weave it through to the third rnd from the end coming out on the underside. Make a couple of stitches to sew this end of the leg to the bottom of the body, fasten off and weave in ends. Repeat same for other front leg.
Sewing the back legs on:
Fold back legs at the half way point so it's in a V shape from the side, flatten the end and pin to the body behind the front legs so that the frog sits level on a flat surface. Sew the flat end to the body at an angle between rnds 7-9 of the body, then weave the tail through to the bend of the leg and make a couple of stitches to secure that to the body on the inside edge. Fasten off and weave in end. Then use the tail from the toes to weave through to the inside edge and secure it with a couple of stitches on the body. Fasten off and weave in end. Repeat for other back leg.

Crown:
In gold:
Rnd 1: ch 10, join in a circle with a sc in the first chain, sc in nxt 9 chains (10) Place marker in last st you did.
Rnd 2: ch 4, starting in 2nd st from hook: sl st in nxt st, sc in nxt st, hdc in nxt st, skip 1 stitch on rnd 1, sl st in nxt st, repeat all the way around (5 triangles)
Fasten off leaving tail for sewing.
Sew to rnd 2 of the head, in between the eyes, by picking up loops from the surface of the green stitches and going through the yellow loops from the first chain round. Fasten off and weave both ends inside head, trim excess and push end inside.
